Course Description:

In this course, students will explore the critical intersections of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and mental health. By navigating the websites of leading Canadian organizations, learners will examine the impacts of stereotypes, prejudice, and discrimination on youth well-being.

This course provides direct access to specialized mental health resources for Indigenous, Black, Muslim, Asian, 2SLGBTQIA+, and newcomer youth. Participants will build the skills to become informed help-seekers while discovering community-specific support systems.
